The evening itself was a great success. It is so rewarding to find others enjoying my art as much as I do. People seemed to also really enjoy checking out the maps I supplied of where the paintings were of. I've posted photos from the gallery but I waited until another day to take them as there was such a crowd of people on the evening of the 19th that it would have been difficult.
The two little bird paintings have gone to a new home. The Art Gallery of Golden has requested Trail to Earl Grey Pass and Bugaboo Panorama so I will be transporting them up there. Then I shall see what will fit on the walls at Helna's Stube in Radium.
I started another painting a week ago. I was going into serious withdrawal and with all the new photos of the Bugaboos, I am eager to capture Cobalt Lake on canvas.
