What a wonderful day!
The rain stopped as the Tour started and while the sun came out, it never got too hot. The rain even managed to wait until we had completed packing up before returning.
The crowds were incredible. I loved hearing people's stories of their own experiences with the various places that I have painted. This valley is indeed a very special place.
My painting, Trail to Earl Grey Pass, has gone to a new home. I shall miss it but my memories of that adventure will remain.
The wonderful walls that my husband created for hanging my artwork under my canopy worked extremely well. The little dips in the horizontal wires are perfect for nestling the 's' hooks in. If anyone is interested, I still have many feet of the sturdy wire mesh we used and will sell it. It is 60" high and I have 50+ feet leftover.
