With the back of the chair finally assembled, the artist was ready to start her creation. But wait! This was going to be tricky. The surface is not rectangular and there are gaps between the slats of wood. And look! the chair seat will be wider than the back. How should she place her picture? This is quite the conundrum.
Aha! She thought. I shall make a large print of my image and try it on the chair.
So, she did. Still, the decisions were not easy. Where shall the water line go? How much of the trees will be on the back? Wait, that line on the mountain falls in the space between the slats. Hmmm. What shall she do? Shall she put all of the image on the back? What about the seat? What about the arms?
Oh, dear. Decisions, decisions, decisions. This is much more complicated than she thought. Perhaps she should sleep on it.
A new day dawned but with it only a few of the questions had been answered. This was proving to be difficult. All day, the artist came back to the pieces to study the situation, move the image a bit, and study it some more.
Finally, as the sun's warmth faded from the day, she decided, "This is it. At last I have decided how it must be."
With that, she got out her pencil and placed her lines. The painting was about to begin!

What an adventure already Susan! I admire your perseverance and dedication to this complex project.
I do not doubt the end product will be amazing -- it always is!
Thanks! While it is challenging I am also having fun tackling this rather unusual venture.
